Website Terms & Engagement Information
This page distinguishes general website information from a professional case evaluation or accepted legal representation engagement.
October 2026 edition
Professional information, not automatic case acceptance.
This website presents Mark Ma Yingxiao’s professional profile, selected employment dispute experience, service descriptions and professional fee schedule.
Mark is a China-licensed lawyer at Beijing Huicheng Law Firm. The services presented here focus on employees working in mainland China.
1. Website content and individual evaluation
Legal explanations on this website address selected issues at a general level. They do not assess a particular visitor’s complete facts, evidence, authorization status or procedural position.
A professional case evaluation examines the submitted information within an agreed scope. It is distinct from reading a page or sending an initial message.
Publication dates and legal sources provide context. They do not establish that every page has been updated for every subsequent development.
2. Initial contact
Email, WeChat and WhatsApp are channels for written engagement enquiries and accepted client correspondence. Sending a message does not, by itself, establish that Mark or the law firm has accepted a matter.
Initial correspondence may be used to identify the relevant service, possible conflicts, availability and proposed scope.
Do not assume that extensive documents sent before acceptance will be reviewed or that a procedural step will be taken without confirmation.
3. Formal engagement
Professional work proceeds through a formal law-firm engagement. The relevant service, scope, professional fees, deliverables and commencement arrangements are confirmed in writing.
The written engagement should also address responsibilities, additional work, any external expenses and applicable termination arrangements.
This website is not an online checkout. It does not accept payment or automatically activate a service.
4. Scope and procedural stages
An engagement may concern case evaluation, document review, a workplace response, negotiation or a defined procedural stage.
A document review does not automatically include drafting or negotiations. A negotiation engagement does not automatically include arbitration. Arbitration, first-instance litigation, appeal and enforcement are separately scoped unless expressly combined in writing.
Included issue counts, material limits, response rounds, hearing attendances and service periods are determined by the accepted scope.
5. Professional fees
The Professional Fee Schedule describes standard fees and starting amounts for the stated scope. A “from” amount is not a quotation for every case.
Complexity, additional materials or additional work may affect the final quotation. Eligible retainer discounts and evaluation credits are applied under their stated conditions and confirmed calculation order.
The individual engagement confirms the accepted fee and any agreed adjustment. It does not remove rights or obligations imposed by applicable law.
Read the Professional Fee Schedule
6. Written communication
The service model uses email, WeChat or WhatsApp text for client communication. Telephone, video and in-person client consultations are not included in the services presented here.
Hearing attendance is distinct from client consultation and is provided where expressly included in the representation scope.
Website language versions do not, by themselves, specify the language of professional correspondence or deliverables. Those arrangements are confirmed for the engagement.
7. Deadlines and urgent matters
Contacting Mark does not pause a limitation period, filing deadline, appeal period, employer response deadline or proposed signing date.
Identify an approaching deadline expressly. Availability and responsibility for the relevant work must be confirmed before relying on the engagement.
Time-sensitive services require express acceptance. Their service period begins under the confirmed commencement arrangements, not upon the first enquiry.
A limited service window does not create continuous real-time availability.
8. Supplied information and documents
A meaningful evaluation depends on relevant, accurate and sufficiently complete information. Identify material gaps, disputed facts and documents that are unavailable.
Redact unrelated personal details where appropriate, without altering evidence needed for the engagement. Submit documents through the agreed method.
Do not send an extensive archive before the preliminary conflict and scope review. Additional submission requirements may follow once the intended work is identified.
9. Privacy and external services
Website operation and professional correspondence have different data-handling considerations. External communication platforms operate under their own policies.
The Privacy Notice describes the website model. An accepted matter may require further information concerning sensitive documents, recipients, retention or professional tools.
10. Cancellations and termination
This website does not establish a universal refund percentage or cancellation formula. The written engagement should specify the applicable arrangements, including the treatment of work already performed and agreed external expenses.
Any mandatory rights and professional obligations remain applicable. A website statement is not a substitute for the individual engagement terms.
11. Case documents and original material
Selected case documents are displayed in redacted form to present professional experience. A caption or summary does not replace the original instrument or reproduce every issue in the underlying record.
Court documents, legislation and other source materials may have rights and usage conditions distinct from the website’s original text and design.
Do not remove redactions, misattribute material, suggest an endorsement that has not been given or use the professional identity to impersonate Mark or the law firm.
12. External links
Links to official sources and external contact services are provided for the stated purpose. Their content and availability are controlled by the relevant providers.
An external link does not indicate that the linked provider endorses Mark or this website.
13. Corrections and updates
Report a factual error, broken link or inconsistency to LawyerMark@qq.com. Identify the relevant page and the issue.
Website revisions do not amend an existing professional engagement automatically. Changes to accepted work or fees require the applicable agreement process.
