Website Operation & Professional Correspondence

Privacy Notice

This notice explains the website’s contact model, technical operation and the distinction between browsing this website and sending information through an external communication service.

October 2026 edition

Scope of This Notice

A static website with external contact channels.

This website presents the professional profile and employment legal services of Mark Ma Yingxiao, a lawyer at Beijing Huicheng Law Firm.

It does not provide visitor accounts, an online submission form, a document-upload facility or an online payment function.

Information sent by email, WeChat or WhatsApp is professional correspondence outside the website’s page-delivery function. An accepted law-firm engagement may require additional privacy information specific to the work and processing involved.

1. Professional contact

Privacy enquiries concerning this website or correspondence with Mark may be sent to:

2. Information involved in browsing

Delivering a webpage requires network requests. The hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information such as an IP address, request time, requested resource, browser information and connection or security data.

This technical processing is distinct from a visitor deliberately submitting a legal matter. Browsing should not be understood as transmitting an employment evidence file to Mark.

The website is intended to be hosted through Cloudflare. Technical processing depends on the services and settings actually enabled for the site.

Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy

3. Page scripts, cookies and browser storage

The website’s supplied page code uses a local script to operate the mobile navigation. That script does not submit personal information, create a visitor profile or write to browser storage.

The supplied page code does not include advertising pixels, analytics tags, embedded social feeds, embedded maps or external font services.

These statements describe the page code, not every possible hosting-layer feature. Hosting security services or external platforms may use their own technical mechanisms under their policies.

4. External contact links

An email link opens the visitor’s email application. A WhatsApp link opens a WhatsApp page or application. Neither action sends a completed legal enquiry automatically from this website.

If you choose to send a message, the selected communication provider processes information under its own service terms and privacy practices. Those services are not operated by this website.

Do not assume that different communication channels provide identical storage, access, transmission or confidentiality arrangements.

5. Information you choose to send

An initial enquiry may include your name, contact details, work location, the opposing entity, a brief description of the employment issue and any approaching deadline.

Information in professional correspondence is used for the relevant enquiry, preliminary conflict review, scope assessment and, where accepted, the agreed professional engagement.

Before sending extensive records, request confirmation of the materials and submission method needed. Avoid including unrelated personal information about yourself or other people.

6. Sensitive documents and professional tools

Employment files can contain identification records, financial details, health information, allegations and third-party personal information. Such material requires a more specific assessment than a general website enquiry.

Before material is processed through a third-party translation, automated analysis or other professional tool, the relevant processing arrangement must be assessed and any required notice or authorization addressed separately.

This notice is not blanket authorization to transfer confidential documents to unspecified tools or recipients.

7. Disclosure and professional engagements

An accepted matter may require information to be submitted to a court, arbitration body, opposing party or other recipient relevant to the agreed work. Any such handling must reflect the professional engagement and applicable obligations.

The law firm’s matter-specific arrangements take account of the purpose, recipients, materials and any additional notice or authorization required. This website notice does not replace those arrangements.

8. Retention

Technical records controlled by a hosting or communication provider are subject to that provider’s relevant practices and settings.

The retention of professional correspondence and accepted case records depends on the purpose of the processing, applicable obligations and the law firm’s record-management arrangements.

Before additional case materials are requested, the relevant retention period or determination criteria should be specified in the applicable privacy information.

This notice does not promise immediate deletion of professional records that must be retained under applicable obligations.

9. Privacy requests

To ask about information handled in correspondence with Mark, or to request access, correction, deletion or another applicable privacy action, contact LawyerMark@qq.com.

Describe the information and the request without sending unnecessary sensitive documents. Proportionate identity verification may be necessary. The request will be assessed under the applicable rules and any relevant record-retention obligations.

Requests concerning a communication platform’s own account or technical records may also need to be directed to that provider.

10. Updates

This notice should be reviewed when the website adds a form, analytics, an embedded service or another feature affecting data handling.

A revised notice does not retrospectively supply authorization for processing that required separate notice or permission.

Privacy Correspondence

Direct questions to the professional contact.

Identify whether your question concerns website browsing, an initial enquiry or an accepted matter. This distinction supports a more precise response.
